Who We Are and
What We Do
Welcome to the Zonta Club of Oak Brook

Our club was chartered in January 2012. Our founding came about with the assistance of Zonta International, whose  headquarters are located right in our town.

At the chartering ceremony pictured below, each member received a yellow candle and a yellow rose as symbols of Zonta. The official colors of Zonta are gold and mahogany and the official flower is the yellow rose. This flower is also given to each new member upon induction into the club.

Our membership is a very diverse group of professional women who live
mostly in the western suburbs of Chicago. We represent careers in

higher education, human resources, real estate, finance, sales, computer systems and facility management and more. As we grow in experience and invite members from the western suburbs to join us, we anticipate creating our own long history of improving the lives of women in the community and
in the world at-large.
We meet for dinner on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Rather than meet in one location, we travel to various ethnic restaurants in recognition of Zonta's international status. Prior to dinner we spend a half hour networking and socializing, followed by our business meeting and a program aligned with our mission or otherwise beneficial. Guests are always welcome!
